About

Specialist behavioural support for complex aggression and anxiety, rooted in science and delivered with compassion.

My Background

Elena De Paris

Growing up in a family of dog lovers, I spent my childhood helping my father to care for our two sighthounds, Mick and Meg. Very early on, I learnt to respect and appreciate dogs, valuing them for their unique qualities, characteristics and drives. I learnt how to feed, walk, care for, and communicate with dogs.

Working for a large rescue charity, the experience shaped my interest in canine psychology and education, and I developed a belief that we needed to better understand and communicate with our dogs.

During my time working in rescue, I witnessed suffering, but also learnt how resilient dogs can be when their needs are met and when owners have the knowledge and confidence to live with and care for their canine companions.  I have many stories to tell about my time in rescue and wonderful characters such as Mutely, Oliver, Happy, Benji, Mick, Curly, and an assortment of Bens of various sizes and colours.

I share my home with three rescue dogs: two gentle elderly sighthounds and a Dachshund, who entertains and delights us with his character and busy approach to life.

My dogs are central to my life, and I extend that care and commitment to every dog that I work with.
