Information
At Canine Care Behaviour, I strive to provide a humane, reward centred methodology to build trust and respect between client and their dog. My work as a behaviourist is primarily to change behaviour by addressing mood and emotion first.
Sometimes during behavioural treatment we need to interrupt unwanted behaviour verbally in order to create an opportunity to teach a new, better behaviour, which is then positively rewarded. In this respect behaviour work is different to training. Some dogs with emotional and behavioural difficulties struggle to learn. Therefore it is important to address this aspect and remove obstacles that impact on a dogs ability to learn.
I will always work hard to ensure that I meet the high standards that my clients and their dogs expect from their behaviourist.
